About Serendipity Barn

What started out in 1930 as an Amish-style barn, has now been given a new life in 2021. On one spring afternoon in 2016, Amy Hicks and her young daughter took an evening sunset drive and spotted a neglected and overgrown property with a home and barn nestled in the countryside of Howard County. It was 8 months later that Amy decided to take on a lifelong adventure by purchasing this property with hopes of making a family household and eventually renovating the barn for a wedding venue. As property renourishment began, Amy was approached by friends and family from all over with stories and long-lasting history about her new property.

Fast forward to 2019 – the home is now everything she dreamed of and work began on the barn. Her visions and dreams from that spring afternoon day began coming to life. Amy was supported by numerous family members and friends who believed in her dream. And now, in 2021, the barn is now ready to serve you.

Situated just outside of Kokomo on State Road 19, the Serendipity Barn is an ideal countryside location for your special day. This rustic white barn with brown and black accents has been masterfully renovated to serve as a premier, yet comfortable and casual wedding venue.
